Dr. Arledge completed training in acupuncture and Chinese medical principles to meet clients’ growing interest in alternative veterinary therapies. This 130-hour program focused on how to use acupuncture to diagnose and treat a variety of conditions and diseases using seven techniques (dry needle, aqu-acupuncture, electro-acupuncture, gold implantation, laser-acupuncture, hemo-acupuncture and pneumo-acupuncture). The training was provided by the Chi Institute of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine and included hands-on learning in a clinical environment.
Interest in this non-invasive technique continues to grow. It is a healing technology that locates areas of the animal’s nervous system that has fallen out of communication, and re-establishes neuronal communication and enables healing. VOM is a simple, effective and safe healing technique that uses fast and easy to apply technology.
