Deer Creek Equine Clinic was founded in 1993 to provide high quality, compassionate equine care to horses in south central Virginia. Whether you are a backyard horse hobbyist, a competitive equestrian or somewhere in between, your equine companions and athletes deserve the best veterinary healthcare available. Our Clinicians and Professional Staff

Dr. Arledge, DVM

Cyntha A. Arledge, D.V.M.

Principal veterinarian and practice owner, she has been a licensed veterinarian since 1984. Dr. Arledge graduated from Ohio State University. In addition to traditional veterinary medicne, Dr. Arledge is trained in VOM and equine acupuncture.

Jessica Mattingly, DVM

Jessica S. Mattingly, D.V.M.

Jessica is a graduate from Texas A&M University, College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Mattingly came to Deer Creek from Texas in July of 2006. She has key inerests in equine sports medicine and dentistry.

 

Dr. eleanor Lenher, DVM

Eleanor Lenher, D.V.M.

Dr. Lenher graduated from Colorado State University, College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. Dr. Lenher came to Deer Creek from South Carolina, where she practiced veterinary medicine for an equine ambulatory and surgical referral veterinary practice for four years after completing a one year internship in North Carolina.
Courtney E. Belden, DVM

Courtney E. Belden, D.V.M.

Dr. Belden also came to Deer Creek after receiving her doctorate in veterinary medicine from the St. George's University, School of Veterinary Medicine. The newest member of the Deer Creek professional staff, Dr. Belden has spent the last year and a half completing internships here in Virginia.
Stephanie Campbell

Stephanie H. Campbell, Licensed Virginia Veterinary Technician.

Mrs. Campbell has more than 30 years of experience working with horses and has an undergraduate degree in Biology / Pre-med from Old Dominion University in addition to an associate degree in veterinary technology.
